Carlos Fabio Constructions prides itself on building careers. Solid growth opportunities are available that provide progression from entry level to Senior Management positions. Student/New Graduate Roles
Here at Carlos Fabio Constructions, we are always seeking to hire numerous students and new graduates for the full-time positions of Construction Coordinator and Quality Control Technician/Administrator. We also hire PEY students, 4 month summer co-op students and offer 8-16 month co-op placements. The locations in which you will work depend on your permanent address and interest, but can range from the following:
- Central District: Oakville, GTA and surrounding areas
- West District: Oakville, Hamilton, Niagara, Kitchener
- Southwest District: Cayuga, London
- Western Liverpool District: Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver
Given the wide geographical area in which you could work, all of our Construction Coordinators and Quality Control Administrators are provided with a company vehicle when required.

Working In Construction
Is it for you? Being on a project site is where all the action is – it’s definitely not a traditional office setting! It’s fast-paced, ever-changing and consistently challenging your knowledge and practical hands-on ability. There is no design involved, as there is a very specific plan drawn up to execute. Given the shorter construction season, there are longer hours to be worked to get the job done, and with weather always being unpredictable, you will be subjected to various environmental elements. At Carlos Fabio Constructions, we work hard and play hard. You will become part of a great team and have a hand in building a landmark project that can be big or small, with a company that has carved out a solid and safe reputation in the construction industry.

- Carlos Fabio Constructions maintains a “develop and promote from within” strategy for recruitment and advancement
- We hire entry level positions and continuously train to develop and build skills
- Our senior leadership team including our Project Superintendents (Managers) and Estimator/Project Coordinators started in entry level positions
- Advancement opportunities are in line with pre-determined “Career Streams”. Our Operations Career Stream prepares employees for future leadership roles as a Project Superintendent responsible for the management and construction of our projects. Alternatively, the Marketing Career Stream prepares individuals for a role as Estimator/Project Coordinator, who is responsible for sourcing and securing projects through the appropriate bidding process. Typically, our Senior Leadership roles require exposure in both Career Streams.

Campus Supports
Carlos Fabio Constructions visits several college and university campuses throughout the year and sponsors many events. We also support various local construction associations and schools to assist with various curriculums and initiatives such as student site tours. Concrete Tobaggan Race
Since 2009, Carlos Fabio Constructions has been an event and team sponsor of the annual Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race (GNCTR). This event encourages today’s civil engineering students at the university level to participate in the race by creating and racing a toboggan that demonstrates sustainability in their design and construction. For this, we award the Carlos Fabio Constructions Sustainable Concrete Toboggan Prize( formerly Holcim Sustainable Concrete Toboggan Prize), which also comes with a $1500 cash bonus.
This event has not only generated awareness to sustainable construction practices, but has also showcased Carlos Fabio Constructions and CRH Liverpool Group Inc. as respected companies that serve various parts of the country. As a company that believes in working hard and playing hard, in 2010 Carlos Fabio Constructions won the “Best Non-Competing Team” prize at the event, going up against alumni and other corporate teams.
